How Artificial intelligence is changing the world.

Will Artificial intelligence impact the common person's life. At least in the near term, it will reshape almost every aspect of how we interact and create value. Of course, the fact of the matter is that AI is already impacting human life in much more than we realize. I've actually witnessed AI's impact firsthand by going to Google.

In fact, AI is already deeply integrated within the Google infrastructure and is empowering the vast majority of our users to do incredible things. However, when it comes to personal AI, I think we'll be waiting a long time for it. A great example of AI's profound impact on our lives today is Google Translate. Google Translate is powered by AI, which is the "language understanding" component of AI. If you open Google Translate's website, you'll immediately notice its incredible impact. You can open a particular web page in Google Translate and the tool will immediately understand your intentions and translate the text or web page for you. While the service is incredibly powerful, it is not perfect and relies on a relatively simple database and software stack. This is where AI begins to make an impact and set it apart from personal assistant bots such as Alexa or Siri. Alexa or Siri rely on static database systems and come up with some basic settings. They are not based on complex predictive algorithms, which means they typically make recommendations to you as well as only use a relatively small portion of their capabilities to make a decision. In contrast, Google Translate has an incredible amount of data that it uses to make decisions. It has a much more sophisticated predictive model, which helps make the final decision on translations and keeps the remaining capabilities on standby to be used for situations that require the most sophisticated language understanding. So, AI has set its sights on personal assistants such as Alexa and Siri, but they are still in the early stages and will not offer as much personalization as personal assistants that come with a much deeper understanding of the user. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see this gap close very quickly. An example of AI making an impact on your life right now is Siri. Siri's AI is powered by machine learning, which is the process of learning. A machine learning system uses large data sets of examples to predict the outcome of an action. For example, if you ask Siri if the weather is going to be clear on Saturday, Siri will use a predictive model to try to predict that. In this case, the AI creates a prediction for you by learning from data. As you use Siri, the software improves and it builds a stronger predictive model. The more you use it, the better the model gets. Eventually, the model will have a very strong understanding of your intent and how it predicts a user's behavior.
Alexa

This is the type of personal AI that personal assistant bots will offer in the near future. Personal assistants will not try to do everything for you, but they will be able to handle most of your tasks. These assistants will understand your intent, understand the context and activity you are performing, and have a deep understanding of your habits, preferences, behaviors and preferences. This creates a massive advantage for users as they can effortlessly rely on a personal assistant, which is much more responsive and much more capable than other bots. Interestingly, Siri and Alexa are also adopting a lot of the predictive model technology that personal assistants such as Siri and Alexa use. In the end, personal assistants like Siri and Alexa will eventually be as personal as personal assistants such as Siri. This is where personal AI is set to deliver the biggest impact in the near future.
